Check out was 11am, far too early! We made a bee-line for the RV for coffee and brekkie.
Our parking was good until the afternoon
– we weren’t done with Vegas yet! But it
was more refined in the daylight. We
walked around the glamorous Venetian, used up our gambling credits and
played a spot of roulette.
Inside or outside? This is INSIDE the Venetian! |
This is also inside.... |
Does he look like he's having fun? |
Needless to
say, we came out roughly even, if not a little bit down – no life-changing
wins! Now we’d done some gambling, the
Vegas experience felt complete.
Chapel of the Flowers for my Sis (with rain drops) |
We found a PA site on the outskirts of city, drove past the
chapel where my sister and brother in law got married AND broke the 12000-mile
mark on our way there. It was a rare rainy day in Vegas. We did a Walmart top-up shop as we neared
Duck creek RV park. The RV park was one
of the most welcoming we have visited AND has free DVD rental. We were both jaded from Vegas and looking
forward to a quiet Saturday night movie night, watching the second Hunger games
film.
We decided that Sunday should contain more of the same so we
had another lazy day, doing blogging and laundry. Despite some rain showers, I decided to be
the crazy Brit who still went for a swim and a dip in the hot-tub! Simon treated us to home-made lasagne and we
rented the first two Divergent films of the trilogy to keep us busy for the
evening.
