Thursday 12th January – the day after the night before
Our plans today had been to cross the border into Alabama
and beyond. The journey was postponed
until Simon had recovered from our fun night out. He was a very poorly man today. I drove the RV back to Big Lagoon and secured
us a FOURTH night there. Turns out you can easily drive the camper whilst the your co-pilot stays in bed!
It was a lovely sunny day (it is the sunshine state after all), so I occupied myself by going for
a bike ride and enjoying some more wildlife watching whilst Si recovered. I then made some serious ground catching up with
the blog during the evening.
