Monday 17th to Sunday 23rd December - finally time for the Christmas Holidays!

Wednesday 19th December
Today was the last Hunua volunteer day this year, so we got on with the hard work and then it was time for a Christmas feast!

Friday 21st December
Finally, it was Simon’s last working day of the year! What a trooper he has been slogging away despite long hours and being constantly moaned at. Time for some well-deserved time off and fun in the sun.
Simon and Debi taking the beer pong very seriously...

With my work being super-busy today there was no way I could get out of work early to join the Continuous Christmas BBQ going on during the day. But thankfully that meant an easier day at work for Si and Huihana as they were done by lunchtime.  The festivities continued into the evening at the Kellas’s where we even played some beer pong for a change as well as the usual darts and cards.

When a colleague buys you a bottle of Jim Beam so large that it requires a cradle for support whilst pouring!

Saturday 22nd December
We took it easy for the weekend, but enjoyed a couple of nice sunsets in our back yard:
