Our Christmas treat selection (note festive tablecloth)
|
As all Christmas mornings should be, we had a lazy one and to be honest I had a bit of a port hangover to recover from! We had exactly what we wanted for breakfast, which for me meant pancakes and maple syrup.
I think this is meant to be Kermit as a waiter?! |
The bar had laid on some snacks and opened the pool table up
so that it was free. I was on appalling
form and lost the pool before also losing a round of Golden Tee golf.
In the end, we spent a few hours in the bar so by the time we got back to the RV around 3pm we were well and truly ready for Christmas dinner. Of course, microwaving some BBQ pulled pork and cooking some chips doesn’t take that long thankfully. Christmas afternoon was then spent feeling over-full and sleepy, so just like any other Christmas afternoon after a large lunch and a bottle of bubbly.
